ECOTOURISM
At our work sites in Tambopata and Machu Picchu tourism is one of the main economic activities focused especially on ecotourism, the most successful strategy to protect nature and develop the economy of local people. Promoting best practices and supporting ecotourism we contribute to develop a responsible and sustainable activity focused on the conservation of the most important ecosystems of Peru.
OUR PROGRAMS
Landing scientific research on easy to understand materials to promote the diversity of Andean and Amazonian forests and strengthening the skills of local guides to understand nature.
Sustainable Tourism Best Practices allow the development of a strategic activity with a minimum impact on the environment.
The Birding Rally Challenge is a bird watching competition; must cover the greatest number of habitats within a geographic area in a limited amount of time, allowing them, in turn, to appreciate Peru’s biodiversity.
