WHERE ARE WE LOCATED?
We are located in the district of Tambopata, Puerto Maldonado region in Peru.
Casa ITA field station is located in a high terrace, 180 meters above sea level. and is surrounded by a primary rainforest with amazing trees 35 meters high, where birds, frogs, monkeys and other fantastic species can be seen night and day.




WHAT YOU CAN DO?
The main activities that take place at Casa ITA are:

Wildlife monitoring: birds, amphibians, small mammasl and invertebrates.

Support field work for research and conservation projects.

Support environmental education projects with local communities.

Support to reforestation projects.
OUR FACILITIES
The volunteering program has access to the following stations:
Canopy walk: A bridges system suspended 35 meters above the ground in the forest canopy.
Machinguenga station: Live the native experience
Chacra Gamitana: Organic production and Agroforestry
Valencia Lake: Work with the Ese-Éja native comunity
Hacienda Concepción: Live the history and evaluate permanent plots in the Inkaterra - Tambopata Consession
